Memorial Day Hybrid Tea Rose
A Commemorative Rose with Beautiful Blooms Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of the summer season and with the warm summer weather come the blooms of the Memorial Day Hybrid Tea Rose.
The fully open bloom reveals unusual petals of clear, orchid pink mixed with hints of lavender. The blooms are enormous - reaching up to five inches across. They sit regally among abundant rich green foliage on long, low-thorn stems. The roses have an old-fashioned, full-double appearance, beginning as ovate buds and opening to reveal up to 50 ruffled petals saturated with a strong powerful classic damask rose fragrance. The scent from one cut bloom is enough to perfume an entire room.
2004 AARS Winner Hybridized by Tom Carruth and introduced by Week's Roses, the Memorial Day rose was an AARS (All American Rose Selection) winner in 2004, selected not only for its beauty, but for its ease of growth. It is a vigorous, disease resistant plant that performs well in a variety of climates.
Memorial Day Hybrid Tea Rose will mature into an upright, rounded bush about five feet high and four feet wide - an ideal additional to your rose collection.
